Gate sequence for continuous variable one-way quantum computation
Measurement-based one-way quantum computation using cluster states as resources provides an efficient model to perform computation and information processing of quantum codes. Arbitrary Gaussian quantum computation can be implemented sufficiently by long single-mode and two-mode gate sequences. However, continuous variable gate sequences have not been realized so far due to an absence of cluste...
متن کاملMulti-Frame Vectors for Unitary Systems in Hilbert $C^{*}$-modules
In this paper, we focus on the structured multi-frame vectors in Hilbert $C^*$-modules. More precisely, it will be shown that the set of all complete multi-frame vectors for a unitary system can be parameterized by the set of all surjective operators, in the local commutant. Similar results hold for the set of all complete wandering vectors and complete multi-Riesz vectors, when the surjective ...
متن کاملInseparability criterion for continuous variable systems
An inseparability criterion based on the total variance of a pair of Einstein-Podolsky-Rosen type operators is proposed for continuous variable systems. The criterion provides a sufficient condition for entanglement of any two-party continuous variable states. Furthermore, for all Gaussian states, this criterion turns out to be a necessary and sufficient condition for inseparability.
متن کاملOn exchangeable continuous variable systems
We investigate permutation-invariant continuous variable quantum states and their covariance matrices. We provide a complete characterization of the latter with respect to permutation invariance and exchangeability and representing convex combinations of tensor power states. On the level of the respective density operators this leads to necessary criteria for all these properties which become n...
متن کاملEntanglement and squeezingin continuous-variable systems
We introduce a multi-mode squeezing coefficient to characterize entanglement in N-partite continuous-variable systems. The coefficient relates to the squeezing of collective observables in the 2N-dimensional phase space and can be readily extracted from the covariance matrix. Simple extensions further permit to reveal entanglement within specific partitions of a multipartite system. Application...
